Veterinarian
Dr. Stacy York is a 2005 graduate of the college of veterinary medicine from the University of Minnesota. She has worked in privately owned small animal veterinary clinics in the Twin Cities since graduation, as is important to her that veterinary medicine NOT be overtaken by corporations.
Dr. York enjoys internal medicine and has a very strong interest in surgery, which lead her to expand her medical skills by joining a privately owned emergency medicine clinic full-time in 2023. She enjoys how emergency medicine has challenged and expanded her skills but realized she missed the long-term connections to patients and their families that are built in a family veterinary practice. As fate would have it, Dr. York provided some relief veterinary services here at Rogers Pet Clinic and she officially joined Roger’s Pet Clinic in 2024.
For the foreseeable future, Dr. York plans to continue her full-time position at Allied Emergency Clinic while enjoying the long-term connections she is establishing at Roger’s Pet Clinic.
Dr. York, her husband, and multiple dogs are members of our community. She has two grown children that graduated from Rogers High School and have gone on to establish their own households with multiple pets. Outside of veterinary medicine she enjoys reading, spending time with friends, working on remodeling projects with her husband, and spending time outdoors: hiking, gardening, and training for 5K fun runs.
