Dr. Brian Brumfield

DVM

Practice Owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Brian Brumfield was born and raised in southern Indiana where he grew up with many 4 legged friends- dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, and pet mice. His childhood shaped who he is as a veterinarian today. In 2008, he graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, he moved to downtown Chicago, where he worked in a busy small animal hospital treating and caring for dogs and cats. Over the past 14 years, he has developed a passion for client education in preventive medicine, internal medicine, and dentistry. His calm demeanor and gentle bedside manner help ease the nerves of our pets and their parents. Dr. Brumfield loves developing long-term relationships with his clients, in which many have turned into lifelong friendships. In 2022, he, his wife, and three daughters decided to move to Minnesota to be closer to his wife’s family and the great outdoors. Shortly after he decided to become a practice owner and purchased the Rogers Pet Clinic. He looks forward to developing new relationships with our clients and their family pets.

What brought you to Minnesota?

I met my wife while we were living in Chicago.  After having our girls we wanted to move closer to family. Eva is originally from St. Cloud so she drew us here to the great state of Minnesota. After the move I decided I wanted to become a practice owner, and Rogers Pet Clinic was the perfect fit for me.

What excites you about the future of the practice?

One of my favorite things about practicing medicine is really getting to know the clients, educating them, and helping you-the pet parent- make a really sound, educated decision on your pet's best interest and best care. That's probably the thing I'm most passionate about.

What specific areas of veterinary medicine do you enjoy?

I love dentistry, gastrointestinal problems, and soft tissue surgery.
